Fleetser
An independent inspection service

Find out what the fleet is actually worth.

You do not have to sell through us to commission one. We inspect the vehicles, measure the packs, check whether the vehicles can be released from the backend, and hand you the report.

What a FleetReport is

A used fleet is not one asset, it is a few thousand batteries that have been used for a sum of years or months attached to vehicles someone else has been operating in varying conditions. The seller knows what they paid and roughly how many they have. Nobody, often including the seller, knows what the packs have left in them, how many units will start, or whether the vehicles can be released from the backend that currently owns them.

A FleetReport answers those questions with measurements rather than adjectives. We go to where the fleet is sitting, sample it, discharge-test packs where the level you commission calls for it, photograph what we find, and check with the IoT vendor what actually happens when someone asks for the fleet to be released. You get it back as a PDF with the serial numbers of every unit we sampled, so any line in it can be checked against a specific vehicle rather than taken on trust.

It is a paid service and it is independent of the sale. You do not have to be buying or selling through Fleetser to commission one, and the report says what it says - we are not paid more if the number comes out higher.

Typically commissioned by
Buyers
About to wire six figures for a fleet they found themselves, from a seller they have never met.
Operators
Winding a city down or rotating stock, and wanting a number before a broker gives them one.
Lenders and lessors
Financing fleets as an asset, or valuing them at end of lease. Batteries depreciate faster than the balance sheet says.
Administrators
Realising the fleet of an operator that has folded, and needing a valuation that will survive a creditors’ meeting.

Only a Certified report carries a battery grade. Field tells you what the fleet looks like and whether it works; Certified tells you how much energy is left in it. Every report states which level produced it.
On the ground

Someone actually goes there.

A technician travels to where the fleet is sitting, counts it, tests it and photographs it. The same people then handle crating and loading if you buy - which is why the inventory in the report matches what comes off the truck.
