Askoll SCOO3 - Manufacturer specification

Source

From the manufacturer’s published sheet for this model. Individual units in a fleet can differ.

Power and speed depend on the market a vehicle was built for. EU pedal-assist bikes are capped at 250 W and 25 km/h under EN 15194, and scooter limits are set nationally - 20 km/h in Germany, 25 in most of the rest. On shared fleets these are normally firmware settings rather than hardware, so ask us what a fleet is currently configured to and what it can be set to for your market.

Variants of this model differ materially. Askoll publishes two different top speeds and two different weights for the SCOO3 depending on which of its own pages you read. The English shop spec sheet states 'Up to 25 km/h' (the general EU kick-scooter limit) while Askoll's Italian model page (askollelectric.com/modelli/scoo3/) states 'Velocita max 20 km/h', which is the Italian domestic legal limit for e-kick-scooters — same hardware, different regulatory cap, so units delivered into Italy may be firmware-limited to 20 km/h. The Italian page also quotes 'Peso 24,6 kg' against the shop's 28 kg, which is the without-battery versus with-battery distinction. Range likewise differs by channel: 50 km on the consumer pages against about 45 km on the sharing page. Brakes are described inconsistently too — the shop lists 'Disc + electronic on motor' front and 'Disc on both wheels' rear, the Italian page simply 'Doppio freno a disco', and the sharing page only a 'dual braking system, electrical and mechanical'. Confirm the speed cap and brake configuration of the specific lot.

Anything Askoll does not publish is left blank here rather than filled in with a number from somewhere else. Figures are taken from Askoll's own English-language shop spec sheet, which is the most complete SCOO3 source Askoll publishes. Range is a manufacturer claim ('50 km'), not a measured or certified figure, and Askoll's own sharing page for the SCOO3 quotes a lower 'maximum range of about 45 km' for fleet use — assume the lower number for duty-cycle planning. The weights reconcile cleanly: Askoll's Italian model page states 24,6 kg and a 3,4 kg battery, and the shop states 28 kg total with battery (24.6 + 3.4 = 28.0), so the figure recorded here is the with-battery mass. Askoll publishes NO IP rating for the SCOO3 anywhere, so phyIp is deliberately blank, as is motPeak — only a 350 W nominal rating is given, never a peak. Note this is a three-wheeled kick scooter (two wheels at the rear) with a patented tilting rear end, not a conventional two-wheeler.
